Former Trump Administration officials Grogan and Czwartacki launch new organization
(Washington, D.C.) Today, policy experts Joe Grogan and John Czwartacki announced the creation of Public Policy Solutions, a new organization dedicated to advancing common-sense public policy solutions that strengthen national security, promote economic opportunity, and empower everyday Americans.
The co-founders both served in President Trump’s first administration helping advance key elements of President Trump’s America First agenda. Grogan began as Associate Director for Health Policy at OMB and then served as Assistant to the President and Director of the Domestic Policy Council. Czwartacki served as the Communications Director of OMB, then as the Chief Communications Officer at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Together they’ve been involved in some of the most consequential policy fights of the past three decades.
“We are in a unique moment in American history with a president has both the experience and the will to make radical but necessary change, to reform policies and bureaucratic structures that have become bloated, ineffective, and no longer serve the needs of our citizens,” John Czwartacki explained. “Though we aren’t in government, we wanted to be part of promoting the America First agenda by lending our voice and our years of experience in public policy to advancing realistic solutions to critical issues across the spectrum of policy.”
The organization plans to engage on a broad range of topics at both the federal and state level, advocating for common sense solutions to the country’s most complex problems.
Describing his vision of the organization, Joe Grogan said, “In the coming months and years, we will use this platform to promote smart policies that are at a breakout point. At the same time, we’ll call out some of the destructive policies and ideologies that rob Americans of their liberty, that limit their opportunities to flourish, and that are ultimately harmful to our country. Our North Star for action on any particular policy is a series of three simple questions. Does it make America more prosperous? Does it make America more secure? Does it empower the American people?”
Public Policy Solutions will inform the public and make arguments for policy, but it will also work to move public opinion and shape legislative outcomes.
For too long, bureaucrats and elected officials have favored a big government, one size fits all solutions that fail to deliver for the American people. Now is the time to confront long-standing problems and bloated, ineffective bureaucracy to effect real change.
