On the Hill, John served as Press Secretary for Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott and
Congressman John Boehner. He also was the national Communications Director for the
Chairman of House Leadership, Bill Paxon.
He served as FEMA’s Public Affairs Director in the George W. Bush Administration and
went on to direct external communications for Verizon before leading communications
and government relations for a billion-dollar international powerhouse in the gaming and
hospitality sector.
He has served under three presidents, worked for five national political conventions,
and on senior staff for elected leadership in both the House and Senate.
More recently, John founded Survivors for Solutions, a nonprofit organization (501(c4))
that advocates for patients by encouraging innovation and medical advancement.
Battling multiple sclerosis since the age of 23, today he fights for the preservation of
patient hope.
